Durga Lamichhane is an accomplished development practitioner and legal professional with extensive expertise in policy formulation, project management, and strategic planning. Currently serving as a Member of the Gandaki Province Policy and Planning Commission. She holds advanced qualifications, including an MPhil in Development Studies from Kathmandu University (2018). She is pursuing a PhD in Development Studies with a specialization in research on foreign direct investment and economic diplomacy of Nepal. Her multidisciplinary academic background, which includes Law and Development, provides her with a comprehensive understanding of legal frameworks, development theories, and governance structures. She operates as a development consultant, advocate, and researcher, while providing strategic advisory services to national and Multinational companies. Her extensive professional experience spans over a decade in development work, policy implementation, and legal practice across national and international platforms. She has held significant positions, including District Land Settlement Commission Member at Kaski, lecturer at University, and project coordinator in different development partners including, World Vision and INSEC.
